OSHA Recordkeeping

Using the most up-to-date OSHA manual, this seminar includes detailed explanations and examples of how OSHA defines “work related” and “work environment, as well as how to submit data to OSHA online!

For instance, OSHA requires that accidents in a facility’s parking lot to be recordable if the accident is “work related” or in the “work environment,” with the outcome being death, days away from work, restricted work or transfer to another job, medical treatment beyond first aid, loss of consciousness, or a significant injury or illness diagnosed by a physician or other licensed health care professional.

Workforce Training That Gives Manufacturers a Break!
This seminar has been approved by the Mississippi Department of Revenue and the Mississippi Community College Board for income tax credit under the Skills Training Tax Credit Program. Manufacturers who pay Mississippi income taxes and participate in MMA’s seminars can earn a 50% tax credit not to exceed $2,500 per year for each employee who is a Mississippi resident attending a seminar. To qualify, contact your local workforce training coordinator at least three weeks prior to the seminar, then contact MMA to register for the seminar.
