This seminar is tailored for contractors, manufacturing companies, field engineers and other individuals in industry who are potentially exposed to stored energy hazards while working on, near and with conductors or systems that use electrical energy. This standard covers the servicing and maintenance of machines and equipment in which the “unexpected” energization or start-up of the machines or equipment, or release of stored energy could cause injury to employees. This standard establishes minimum performance requirements for the control of such hazardous energy. Seminar is tailored to address company policy to ensure all steps are taken for OSHA compliance.
♦ General industry hazard identifications concerning lockout.
♦ Development or revision of internal lockout program.
♦ Writing energy control procedures relevant to the employers’ equipment.
♦ Periodic inspections.
