Aaron Foster was named Chief Manufacturing Project Engineering (CMPE) General Manager at Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Mississippi, Inc., in May 2018. Toyota Mississippi produces the Corolla, Toyota’s highest volume selling vehicle in the world.
In his role, Foster is responsible for all cross-functional manufacturing engineering projects, company competitiveness and paint manufacturing. With over 18 years of automotive experience as an engineer specialist, production group leader, and manager of production, maintenance and engineering teams, Foster has been a part of three plant start-ups in the state of Mississippi with both Toyota and Nissan.
Prior to joining the Toyota team in 2007, Foster worked at Nissan’s manufacturing facility in Canton, Miss., working various positions in the Paint Department.
Foster is a member of the Toyota Mississippi Executive Committee, serves as Executive Sponsor for key plant initiatives, and has leadership roles in several North American Body Weld/Paint activities. He is also a board member for the Pinevale Children’s Home, serves on Northeast Mississippi Community College’s Diversity Board and is an active member of the Mississippi STEM Consortium.
A Mississippi State University Mechanical Engineering graduate and native of Iuka, Mississippi, Aaron and his wife, Cassie, have four children.
