MMA-MEP "HELPS" Regional Meeting (Tupelo)

"HELPS"

H
elping Employers Link Programs to Skills

Hiring dependable, skilled and talented employees continues to be a challenge. An aging workforce, ongoing labor shortages, and lack of knowledge of available resources are all contributing factors. To ensure industry leaders are aware of the many effective training and placement programs available to them, the Mississippi Manufacturers Association Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MMA-MEP) will present a series of regional meetings, entitled Help for Employers to Link Programs to Skills (HELPS). These meetings will be held throughout the state.

The regional meetings will feature specific front-line case studies of successful recruiting strategies. Leaders in workforce training will provide actionable strategies and HELPS. After attending, participants will be able to expand applicant pools to include nontraditional job seekers, access training resources, and build critical partnerships.
