The MMA Political Action Committee is pleased to announce their endorsement of Judge Jeff Weill for the Mississippi Court of Appeals (District 4, Place 2), which encompasses the old 4th congressional district. Judge Weill is in his 8th year as a twice-elected Circuit Court judge in Hinds County, and has a sterling reputation as fair and impartial in all matters that come before the court. Prior to his service on the Circuit Court, Weill served as a City Councilman in Jackson and as a state court prosecutor. Judge Weill comes from a manufacturing background, as his family owned and operated a manufacturing facility in Tylertown, MS.
Judge Weill has also been endorsed by the Business & Industry Political Education Committee (BIPEC) as the “best for business” candidate in this race. Judge Weill faces two opponents for this Court of Appeals seat, but judging his record on the Circuit Court and his business background, we believe that he is the best candidate for this opening on the Court of Appeals.
We encourage all MMA members and their employees that reside in District 4 to support Judge Weill on the November 6 general election ballot.
