Director of Insurance Services
Renee Johnson is Director of Insurance Services. Her responsibilities include overseeing the division’s workers’ compensation, multi-state coverages, commercial property, umbrella coverage, loss control and claim services, and auto, products and general liability. She also oversees sales as a Managing General Agent (MGA) with Berkley Southeast Insurance Group, maintains relationships with agents and insureds, and manages the association’s member health benefits, which include dental, vision, critical illness, accident, life, accident, cancer, and supplemental health insurance.
Before joining MMA in 2004 as Director of Sales for the Workers Compensation Group, Renee worked for Hallmark Cards, One Call Comprehensive Care and Mirage Resorts.
Renee received a bachelor of science in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. She also holds a health insurance, and property and casualty insurance agents’ license for the state of Mississippi. Renee resides in Madison, MS with her husband, Shelby, and four children.
