ENSAFE - MMA and EnSafe would like to remind all companies of their need to be following the OSHA recordkeeping requirements of posting their OSHA 300 Summary no later than February 1, 2023 and posting their OSHA 300 Summary info on line by March 2, 2023 to the link listed below.
As per 1904.32, employers with more than 10 employees in the last calendar year are required to post a summary of their OSHA 300 Log from February 1 through April 30th of the current year. You may download a copy of the recordkeeping forms and instructions at: Recordkeeping - Recordkeeping Forms | Occupational Safety and Health Administration (osha.gov) if needed.
A Certified Annual Summary must include:
- the totals from the columns of the OSHA 300 Log
- Establishment Information
- Signature of a Company Executive
The certified summary must be posted in a conspicuous place or places where notices to employees are customarily posted. You must ensure that the posted annual summary is not altered, defaced, or covered by other material.
Also, employers must submit required 2022 injury and illness data by March 2 if they have:
- 250 or more employees and are currently required to keep OSHA injury and illness records.
- 20-249 employees classified in specific industries with historically high rates of occupational injuries and illnesses.
Visit OSHA's Injury Tracking Application (ITA) webpage for more information and to submit data online.
Remember to set up your new, more secure ITA account with Login.gov. You must have BOTH an ITA account AND a Login.gov account to access the application.
