PEARL, Miss. - The Mississippi Department of Corrections unveiled its newest Mobile Welding Simulator Training Center during a news conference Friday morning.

The simulator is in a 53-foot drop down trailer and this state-of-the-art training tool features eight Miller augmented welding stations. The purpose of the trailer is to provide incarcerated persons with industry-recognized credentials and essential skills for gaining employment.
