KEVIN BROWN

Kevin Brown is the President of Viking Range, LLC, and Lynx Grills, driving the company’s strategies and overseeing brand management, marketing, design, manufacturing, engineering, and quality control. Under his leadership, Viking and Lynx have introduced cutting-edge kitchen and outdoor technologies to homes worldwide, while expanding their international exports.

Notably, Kevin's leadership drove the successful relocation of Lynx Grills' headquarters and operations to Greenwood, MS. This strategic move was followed by transitioning the production of the Italian-designed range for the Viking Tuscany line from Italy to Greenwood. This year, the launch of Viking's new contemporary RVL, which received the prestigious Style Statement Silver Award in the Best of KBIS competition, further showcased the brand's commitment to innovation. These accomplishments have expanded Viking's portfolio, adding two new categories to its luxury offerings. Today, Viking operates three manufacturing plants, a testament to Kevin's dedication to U.S. and international growth through portfolio expansion, technology, and innovation.

Kevin began his appliance career on the assembly line at Whirlpool in 1989, quickly expanding his expertise into manufacturing, engineering, quality, and reliability over the next 17 years. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Mississippi. In 2007, Kevin joined Viking as Chief Engineer, steadily rising through the ranks to become Vice President of Engineering in 2011 and ultimately President in 2016.  Since Viking’s acquisition by Middleby Corporation in 2013, Kevin has been pivotal in integrating Middleby’s innovations, overseeing the launch of over 70 new products across indoor and outdoor categories, and cementing Viking and Lynx's dominance in the luxury market.

Outside of his professional role, Kevin is deeply involved in his Greenwood, MS, community. He actively participates in civic organizations like the United Way, where he served on the Allocations Committee, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Greenwood-Leflore-Carroll Economic Development Foundation. A devoted family man and member of First Presbyterian Church, Kevin lives in Greenwood with his wife, Patsy, and their children, Garrett and Mary Helen.
