Vice President, Manufacturing - Toyota Motor Manufacturing Mississippi (TMMMS)
As Vice President of Manufacturing, Aaron Foster is responsible for all manufacturing functions including Press, Weld, Paint and Assembly Operations at Toyota Mississippi.
The manufacturing facility, located in Blue Springs, produces the Corolla, Toyota’s highest-volume selling vehicle globally.
Foster joined Toyota in 2007 as a Paint Engineer at the Blue Springs facility. He was part of the first hiring group, playing an integral role of the history and construction of the plant. During his tenure, he served in multiple roles in the Paint Department covering Production, Engineering and Maintenance. He was named Group Manager of Manufacturing in 2016 and later transitioned to Group Manager of Human Resources in 2020.
Prior to his role as Vice President, Foster served as General Manager of Special Projects at the joint venture plant, Mazda Toyota in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, he was responsible for supporting the stabilization of their operations during the launch of the Toyota Corolla Cross and Mazda MX50.
Foster serves on the board for the Pine Vale’s Children’s Home and is a strong supporter of all Business Partnering Groups at TMMMS where he has served as the Executive Sponsor for the Young Professionals and Women Influencing and Impacting. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University.
He resides in Booneville, MS with his wife, Cassie, and has five children.
