Director of Membership and Educational Services
As the Director of Membership and Educational Services, Shannon’s responsibilities include recruiting new and retaining current members, conducting board elections, coordinating and fundraising for MMA events, tracking union activity in the state, and providing information about the resources and services offered by MMA. She also provides MMA members with useful information, assistance for questions and helpful solutions on manufacturing-related topics.
Prior to joining MMA in 2007 as Membership and Marketing Manager, Shannon worked at the Rankin County Chamber of Commerce in Brandon, MS, and has more than 25 years’ experience in sales and marketing.
Shannon is also involved with the following organizations: Mississippi District Export Council, Mississippi State Rehabilitation Council, AbilityWorks, Mississippi Construction Education Foundation, Southcentral Mississippi Works, Mississippi Lumber Manufacturers Association, Mississippi Economic Development Council, Mississippi Society of Association Executives, SEUS Canada, and Goodwill of Mississippi.
Shannon is a graduate of Draughon’s Business College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is originally from Pearl, MS, and currently resides in Brandon, MS, with her husband, Greg.
