JACKSON - Toyota Mississippi Manufacturing, Mississippi (TMMMS), through a partnership with Itawamba Community Colllege, saw an increase in the skill set and knowledge base of its workforce and a cost savings of $675,000.

NORTHBROOK, Ill. - CF Industries Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CF), the world’s largest producer of ammonia, today announced that it is moving forward with a carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) project at its Yazoo City, Mississippi, Complex that is expected to reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emitted to the atmosphere from the facility by up to 500,000 metric tons annually. As part of the project, the Company has signed a definitive commercial agreement with ExxonMobil for the transport and sequestration in permanent geologic storage of the CO₂. Sequestration is expected to start in 2028.

JACKSON (Mississippi Development Authority) – Agricultural product manufacturer Sipcam Agro USA is updating a recently acquired facility in Wayne County. The project is a $3.6 million corporate investment and will create 26 new jobs.

JACKSON (Mississippi Development Authority) – Liebherr, one of the largest manufacturers of construction equipment in the world, is locating distribution and manufacturing operations in Lee County. The project represents a corporate investment of $176 million and will create at least 180 jobs by 2026. The company potentially will invest up to $238.4 million and create up to 342 jobs to support its new operations.

JACKSON (Mississippi Development Authority) – Ashley Furniture Industries, the largest manufacturer of home furnishings in the world, has plans to expand operations in two of its existing locations in Lee County. The project represents a corporate investment of approximately $80 million in facilities and equipment and will create at least 500 new jobs.
