JACKSON (Office of Governor Reeves) – Governor Reeves today announced a series of new appointments at the Mississippi Development Authority (MDA). Governor Reeves appointed William “Bill” Cork as Executive Director/Chief Economic Development Officer, PJ Waldrop as Chief Operations Officer, and Steven McDevitt as Chief Investment Officer.

JACKSON (Courtesy: Mississippi Development Authority) – Fishing boat manufacturer Avid Boats is renovating and expanding its facility in Monroe County. The project is a $7.96 million investment that will create 50 new jobs. 

JACKSON - The results for Mississippi's 2023 general elections are in and there were very few surprising outcomes. Governor Tate Reeves and Lt. Governor Delbert Hosemann, along with the rest of the statewide incumbents, were re-elected. In the House and Senate races, only one incumbent lost and very few races were competitive.
