JACKSON – The Manufacturing Institute—the workforce development and education affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers—announced that Raytheon Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMS) General Manager and Site Executive Frankie Adair is a 2024 Women MAKE Awards honoree. This annual national awards program honors women who demonstrate excellence and leadership in their careers and represent all levels of the manufacturing industry, from the factory floor to the C-suite.

Dr. Courtney Taylor named Executive Director of AccelerateMS

JACKSON, MS (Courtesy: AccelerateMS) — On Wednesday, the State Workforce Investment Board confirmed Dr. Courtney Taylor as the new Executive Director of AccelerateMS, the lead office for workforce development strategy and coordination. Effective March 16, 2024, Taylor takes the reins from Ryan Miller, who has led the office since its inception in 2021.
