Washington, D.C. – The National Association of Manufacturers and 606 business leaders from across the manufacturing economy signed and released a letter to be sent to the next president, following the election. The letter demonstrates a firm commitment to working with the next administration regardless of whom the American people send to the White House.

JACKSON, Miss.— Governor Tate Reeves and AccelerateMS, in collaboration with the Mississippi Apprenticeship Program (MAP), the Mississippi Department of Employment Security (MDES), and the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District are excited to announce two transformative initiatives aimed at strengthening Mississippi’s workforce: the Mississippi Apprenticeship Accelerator (MAA) and Mississippi Reconnect. These programs will be critical in closing skills gaps, providing career pathways, and driving economic growth across the state.

JACKSON (Mississippi Development Authority) - Eyeglass manufacturer Superior Optical Lab is expanding in Jackson County. The project is a $12,451,728 corporate investment and will create 188 jobs.
